I have two immersion RC rapidfire receivers and unfortunately they both don’t work. First by my fault I accidentally connected a high voltage battery to my fatshark goggles and fried goggles and rapidfire doesn't give a sign of life at all, secondly got damaged on their own, i’m not sure how that happens. It boots up and seems to work but doesn't show RSSI level at all, not in band scanning mode or any other, also RSSI calibration is failing. I can’t even flash this receiver. It starts flashing up to 50% and displays that “Get info from RapidFire failed”. On OSD in the section “about” I can see that Brain has version 1.3.3 but RapidFire has 0.0.0. But I can see video feeds from drones, also changing channels works. I already resolder all pins on both boards where the connector that joins two boards are located, but that didn’t help. I was thinking that maybe someone can help me how I can make from those two damaged units, one fully working. I have a hot air rework station, and I'm also skilled with using it, transplanting components or whole chips is not a problem. But it's like wandering in the fog… can you suggest what i can try, or what components i can try to transplant, and with one would be easier to save .. maybe this one that is turning on.. actually any suggestion will be valuable, thanks in advance.
